Lisa Gold’s training began at the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and Child Psychology . This awarded her a full scholarship to Columbia University to study Applied Behavior Analysis. Lisa travels across the country to work with individuals, couples and families.
Lisa is a renowned speaker and trainer who shares her naturalized methodology worldwide and is in the process of producing a documentary.
She is a pioneer in her field, in that her evaluations are conducted by studying each clients social interactions and maladaptive behaviours desired to change across their natural environments. Lisa Observes her clients social interactions and behaviours in relation to pertinent people and activities in their life to data gathering. Quite often, Lisa's clients are unaware of her observations allowing a pure read for accurate data gathering, rapidly and efficiently revealing the root issue most difficult to obtain in a contrived environment such as an office.
As a result, a behavior plan is quickly designed, and client receives direct instruction with daily accountability and support. In turn new skills are generalised and become automatic in 66 days just as studies have proven. Once a rapport is established, Lisa serves her clients traditionally in-office and via video calls.
Another factor attributed to Lisa's success is Lisa's sessions often run 2-3 hours and clients are in contact daily and extensively. By eliminating a time constraint, behavioural changes take place rapidly in a cost efficient process.
